If you're interested in how current artists, digital creators, bookbinders, poets, literary experimentors, publishers, librarians, and book scholars are redefining the/a book these days, or you remember Dr. Amaranth Borsuk's presentation of her digital pop-up book, at RIT back in 2012, you'll want to look into

THE BOOK: 101 DEFINITIONS, edited by Amaranth Borsuk

Borsuk's book was just launched at the Virtual Printed Matter Art Book Fair as a limited edition artist's book by Anteism Press in collaboration with Concordia's Centre for Expanded Poetics with support from the Canadian Arts Council.

Her distributively authored book defining the/a book from 101 perspectives, including her own, is available to purchase online from Anteism for $15.00.

CES is donating a copy of this artist's book to RIT's Cary Graphic Arts Collection for use on-site and for class activities later this spring, if you don't get your hands on a copy.

The project began as a web companion project to her superb and concise academic book,The Book, published by MIT Press in 2018; the initial web project - 101 Definitions  is still accessible online at: t-h-e-b-o-o-k.com.
